Mis-selling (Payment Protection Insurance, PPI)
Have you taken out a loan or purchased an item on credit during the last few years? Was payment protection insurance built into the deal so that if you had to stop work through illness your payments would still be made? If your answer to these questions is 'yes' there is a strong possibility that you were mis-sold the PPI and you can claim compensation.
20 million PPI policies have been sold in the UK netting billions of pounds for banks and other financial institutions. Around 70% of these policies are believed to have been mis-sold, a staggering 14 million. Yours could easily be one of these.
